My stay at Hotel El Jebel was absolutely good! The elevated location provided peaceful views over the Bay of Naxos and Mount Etna, setting the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The really good staff truly made my experience lovely, going out of their way to assist with any request. While the restaurant was only open for breakfast during my visit, the nearby dining options were plentiful and delicious. 🌅😊

The hotel didn't have a swimming pool, but the beach shuttle service was convenient for days spent by the sea. Plus, the rooftop area was stunning, perfect for lounging.

My stay at Hotel El Jebel was a good experience. the stunning views of the Bay of Naxos from my room were a major highlight. I appreciated the immaculate cleanliness throughout the hotel, though the breakfast service could have been a bit more efficient. Overall, I felt truly pampered with the attentive staff and the luxurious atmosphere. even if there were a couple of minor service hiccups.

My stay at El Jebel had its highs and lows. The view from my room was absolutely amazing, especially the sight of Mount Etna. However, I was seriously let down by the dining experience, starting with breakfast that felt more three-star than five-star. While the staff often went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, some fundamental aspects of the hotel really need an upgrade.

Rooms

The suite I stayed in was spacious and designed with a lot of character. The views were stunning, but the bed felt rock hard, and the pillows were less than comfortable. I struggled with neck pain during my stay as softer pillows were not available.
Service
8.0
The staff genuinely tried to make my stay better; Annalisa was particularly wonderful in managing our concerns. Still, their overall efficiency, especially in the dining area, left much to be desired.
Location
9.0
El Jebel is just off the main street of Taormina, creating a peaceful oasis away from the bustling crowds. The location truly allowed me to soak in the local charm without feeling overwhelmed.
Dining

The breakfast was pretty sparse and disappointing. On one occasion, I encountered a rotten drink. Although I appreciated that the staff was trying to be helpful, the dining experience needs serious improvement.
Facilities

The hotel had several useful facilities, but I was really looking forward to the spa, which was unexpectedly closed during my visit. This was a major letdown since that was a big reason for booking here.

I was really looking forward to my stay at El Jebel, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a letdown. While the room was stunning and the views of Mount Etna were amazing, the dining experience left much to be desired, with stale breakfasts and questionable drinks. The lack of a functioning spa was a huge disappointment, especially since I chose this hotel for relaxation. Overall, El Jebel has great potential, but it seriously needs improvements in service and facilities.

Rooms

My room was large and beautifully decorated, offering lovely views. However, the bed was rock hard, and I found the pillows uncomfortable. I even requested softer pillows, but they couldn't provide any that were satisfactory.
Service
5.0
Although the staff tried to be accommodating, such as Annalisa who was wonderful, the overall service was lacking. Breakfast was understaffed and chaotic, and the bar service was confusing and slow.
Location
8.0
The location is convenient, just a few steps from the main street, Corso Umberto. It creates a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle, which I appreciated.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast experience was disappointing with limited options and stale items. I also had issues with the bar drinks, which were poorly mixed, failing to meet expectations for a luxury hotel.
Facilities
5.0
There was no functioning spa during my stay despite it being a significant reason for choosing the hotel. The other facilities were average at best, and overall, it didn't feel like a five-star hotel.

I had a good stay at Hotel El Jebel, where the beautifully decorated rooms offered stunning views of the Bay of Naxos. However, while the rooftop space was enchanting, I found the dining options somewhat limited and could have used more variety. Overall, the attentive staff and immaculate cleanliness left a lasting impression.
